Can you have your penis circumsized at an older age?

Answer:
Yes. It's slightly different. At an older age, to avoid the pain that newborns (although a decreasing number of, since fewer are getting it done) go through, you're put to sleep.

However, recovery is another thing. That takes about two weeks to heal (and can take longer, depending on your age). During that time there shouldn't be an masturbation or sex, and pain will be common with erections (and possibly urination).

Other than that, also read up on the risks of circumcision. It's something that cannot be undone if you don't end up liking it.

Circumcision is extremely painful.

The USA is the last advanced nation doing it, but rates have fallen down from over 90% in the 1960s to as low as 21% here in California currently. From CNN:

Circumcision was actually promoted in the USA at first to stop masturbation (in hopes of it being tight enough to require lubes and not have skin to slide since the foreskin is already moist)

USA = highest HIV rates in advanced nations (and highest circumcision rates). CIA statistics:

yes. but the procedure becomes more complicated as you get older. the procedure also takes up to an hour and takes a little longer to heal. plus there are some dangers to getting a circumsicion so make sure to discuss it with your doctor before getting the procedure.
yeah but its more difficult if not done alittle bit after birth
yes u can get circumsized at any age it just hurt the older u get
had it done when I was older. it was nothing. took about two weeks to heal; i was back in the saddle in three weeks, and haven't looked back!
Yes at any age. ~GL
Why would you want to???
yes
Yes, you can. It is normally a straightforward day surgery operation done under local anaesthetic and providing you follow the post-operative care instructions there should be no problems .
yea u can...i got it done in 6th grade

its nothing very scary either

they give u some gass and tell u to count backwords from 10 or 100

then u wake up and ur sore for a week or so

personally i like it better cut...i didn't like the foreskin
Yes it Can. Im 24 now and i had it done 3 years ago. I didnt really hurt that much afterwards, however just be aware that you may see it as a piece of skin but it is the protection for the glans (head).
Having mine done was the worst mistake of my life, although the surgeon did nothing wrong i have lost a lot of sensitivity and i miss it. Im currently manually restoring mine by stretching the skin with a specially made device.
So just consider all outcomes before doing it and maybe pop into a few foreskin and circumcision forums,
why would you want to get it done any way. check out the net and it will show you many reasons not to get it done. talk to any guy who still has their foreskin and they will tell you how great it is. I'm so glad i still have mine
Yes! I was cut at 18 and have no regrets! Sex is so much better circumcised! The orgasms are at least twice as explosive!
Yes. Converts to Islam are circumcized in many cases. The chances of catching HIV are reduced. It is painful. Some people do it at home. This is very dangerous and could lead to death, if things go wrong. The idea that doing it without sedation is manly is stupid.
Of course you can but it is surgery. personally I wouldn't recommend it though.
