Can you have ED at the age of 24?

My buddy tells me he has a problem getting an erection sometimes with certain women but, not with his ex-girlfriend. He is 24. Could this be ED?
Answer:
In this case, no. It sounds more psychological than physical. Some men though, either through medication or nerve damage, can experience ED at a young age. But since it is selective, then I'd say no.
Sure you can he needs to go talk to a doctor.
That sounds like a psychological problem to me. ED does not discriminate between stimuli.
This is something that is not commonly-known among men, but it's almost a guarantee that at some point in your will, you will have problems "getting it up." The reasons could be stress-related, relationship-related, "I'm just tired"-related, or other psychological causes. The fact that your friend has no problems with his ex, but has problems with other women suggests to me that there is something psychological going on, rather than an actual physical problems with "the plumbing."
If he has no problem with obtaining an erection with his ex-girlfriend, he is probably experiencing "performance anxiety" rather than ED. In other words, he is "comfortable" with his ex-girlfriend .. knowing her likes and dislikes.

With someone new, he is frightened that he will not perform to her liking or not be able to satisfy the new girl.

If, however, this continues, he should see his doctor.
maybe hes stressed out or something, tell him to go to the dr
Might be physological ED
yes, it may be a symptom of congestive heart failure which is becoming more and more common in the younger population.

As most people mistakenly believe themselves to be healthy just because they don't have "symptoms" it might be wise to just get a general physical.
If hes a healthy kid, then no he doesnt ed.
Its just emotional, give it time and it will pass.
